Fabric dye job worked!
Dharma didn’t lie about their colors. I followed the directions and the color came out beautifully.

Dyed 5 yards of fabric
Since the green linen I bought for my German woodcut peasant dress was a tad too neon green, I used avocado green dye from Dharma Trading Company to overdye. I’ve never dyed fabric before. It’s a lot of darn work.
Elizabethan Jacket taught for the second time
Today I taught the Elizabethan Jacket class for the 2nd time. This one was at Grace Church in Falls Church. There were seven attendees. It went well. The class seems to get smoother each time I teach.

Cut silk for Christie’s dress
I bit the bullet today and cut out the silk for Christie’s sash, sleeves and brustflek.
Straw arrived
The braided straw arrived for the German fieldworker hats.

Bodice
Drafted a new bodice pattern using my basic German body block. Made the neckline higher and rounded.
Cut and sewed the sleeves of the 4th German gown tonight.
